Is this a metaphor for something? When they form in families, they look like creatures from War of the Worlds. I’d take my chances with waterspouts if it meant that I could live by the sea.
don’t they look so other-worldly? i’d love to live by the water, too, if it meant to witness one of these :) you could imagine so many different stories for them… descending in strange families, evolving into monsters from cautionary tales at sea…
